Czech for Foreigners (1 year)
Want to master the Czech language? Czech for Foreigners (1 year) is a two-semester intensive course designed to develop students’ Czech communication skills while helping them master Czech grammar and vocabulary. Each class has a minimum of 6 students and a maximum of 12, ensuring ample practice opportunities and personalized guidance.
The course starts in mid-September and includes a total of 600 teaching units. The course fee covers all books and study materials, and students also have free access to various university facilities. Upon completion, students receive a certificate of completion, and many choose to continue their studies or return to Olomouc for further education.
Czech for Foreigners Fees
The annual fee for the academic year 2025/2026 is 3500 EUR (~￥27,540). The tuition fee must be paid before September 30, 2025.
The fee includes:
✅ Lectures (group of 15/20 students)
✅ Study in Olomouc orientation week
✅ Certificate of Attendance (transcripts with ECTS credits)
The fee does not cover:
❌ Accommodation costs
❌ Costs of transport to and from the Czech Republic
❌ Costs for obtaining passport, visa or other travel documents, insurance etc.
Palacký University Olomouc will provide assistance in arranging accommodation at the University dormitories. Palacký University Olomouc will also be ready to provide advisory upon arrival to the Czech Republic and assistance with the visa documents.

What Do I Need for My Application?
To apply, you need to fill out our application form and submit the following documents:
✅ A scanned copy of your passport
✅ A certificate or diploma of your most recent completed education
After submitting these documents, you will need to pay the non-refundable administrative fee of 2,000 CZK via bank transfer to the university account.
How Long Does the Application Process Take?
Our admissions administrators will process your application within 10 working days after receiving it. Once your documents and administrative fee are confirmed, you will immediately receive the necessary admission documents.

How Do I Get a Visa?
Once we receive all necessary documents and confirm your administrative fee payment, we will issue your Letter of Admission, which is essential for obtaining a visa.

The final deadline for applications for the next academic year is in March.
